Bach Guitar Duo

Florindo Baldissera started studying guitar with Giuseppe Della Libera, and then continued
with Vincenzo Saldarelli. He graduated whit honours in guitar in 1985, in Mantua
Conservatory, and then he attended to various master classes with Alberto Ponce. He gained
generous praise from both public and critics in his concerts in the role of soloist, soloist with
orchestra and as a member of different chamber music groups. He has performed with success
in important theaters and concert halls, guest of prestigious festivals, and exhibitions in various
countries. He gave first performances of music for guitar by Gerald Garcia, Rosario Mirigliano,
Vincenzo Saldarelli, Mauro Castellano, Massimo Sgargi, Giorgio Pressato, Marino Baldissera
and Corrado Pasquotti, works of whom he recorded on the monographic CD Silentia lunae
together with Federica Lotti (flute) and Mauro Castellano (piano). He recorded for RAI-TV3,
SDR Stuttgart, and Duna TV Budapest. He edited the Tres libros de Musica para vihuela by Alonso
Mudarra (Ut Orpheus, Bologna). In 1997 he won the special prize Teatro Cadore for his artistic
personality. He plays in a Duo with Jeanne Christée, german violinist, with whom he has
recorded two CDs devoted to 19th century italian music for violin and guitar (Eisenkolb
Musicproduction, Dresden). He plays also in the Fandango Guitar Quartet and collaborates with
Pamela Hebert (m. soprano), Liana Maeran (soprano) and Federica Lotti (flute). Another
activity of his is as a vihuela player. He teaches guitar in the “Benedetto Marcello”
Conservatory in Venice and in master classes.
Vittorino Nalato studied guitar with Giuseppe Della Libera and, later, with Gianfranco
Volpato. He graduated with full marks at “A. Steffani” Conservatory in Castelfranco Veneto. He
attended various master classes with Alirio Diaz, Josè Tomás and Ruggero Chiesa. He won the
Abbiategrasso (MI) National Musical Contest, Maccagno (VA) and Stresa (NO) International
Music Contests. He performs concerts with generous praise from both public and critics. He
collaborated with several composers (D. Anzaghi, P. Beraldo, L. Mosca, M. Peguri, D.
Zanettovich) in the realisation of original works and arrangements for guitar. As a member of
the F. Moreno-Torroba Guitar Quartet he recorded two CDs (Rivo Alto-Ducale): the former
“Colori e Danze del Novecento” (1993) has been favourably received by italian and
international critics, the latter “Cantares Populares” (2000) was recorded with the soprano
Francesca Scaini (winner of Maria Callas International Contest) and Carlo Scalco (voice). He has
recently released the Hungarian composer Ferenc Farkas’s monographic CD (Nuova Era). He
plays with Luisa Nalato (flute) and with the poet Pierluigi Svaluto Moreolo. He founded and is
artistic director of the Belluno’s Coro C.A.I., with which he recorded the CD Sui scalin… (Eco).
He teaches guitar at “Sebastiano Ricci” Secondary Music School of Belluno, and at “Antonio
Miari” Municipal Academy of Music (Provincial Departement of Vicenza Conservatory) in the
same town.
